Descendants fans pay attention, because from today a brand new part of the Disney franchise can be streamed. Descendants: Wicked Wonderland (2026) picks up the thread in the realm of the Queen of Hearts and brings us the fifth adventure in the series.
New villain
With the Queen of Hearts nice and Cinderella safe, everything seems ideal for Red and Chloe. However, they don’t realize that tinkering with the past has created a new villain: Maddox Hatter. When Maddox captures the Queen of Hearts, Red and Chloe must join forces with Red’s new sister Pink, Luis (Luisa Madrigal’s son) and Max (Maddox’s son) to save both her and Wonderland.
Rewriting history
In Wicked Wonderland we see the same protagonists who appeared in Descendants: The Rise of Red (2024) embarked on a time-travel mission to counter the plans of the tyrannical Queen of Hearts (pop star Rita Ora). In this fifth part, Red (Kylie Cantrall) and Chloe (Malia Baker) discover that rewriting history can have major consequences. As we are used to from the Descendantsfilms, music plays a central role, and on Disney’s music channel you can already find individual clips of the songs that will appear in the sequel.
