Funny details or not?
Remarkably, the responses are up Ladies First particularly positive. Many reviewers praise the film because it questions gender roles in an accessible way and offers space for reflection. At the same time, the comedy is criticized for its predictable story and humor that does not appeal to everyone. The makers hid dozens of details in the background to emphasize the reversed balance of power. For example, viewers will come across names like “Victor’s Secret” (a nod to Victoria’s Secret), “Nate Spade” and even “Netchix” instead of Netflix.
