Enola Holmes 3 (2026) is off to an excellent start on Netflix. The new film starring Millie Bobby Brown was viewed no less than 20.7 million times in the first five days of release, making the production the current most viewed title in the world on Netflix
Sherlock kidnapped
Although the third film in the series leads the international Netflix top 10, the opening tempo is slower than that of Enola Holmes 2 (2022). Enola Holmes 2 was released about four years ago and racked up around 29.3 million views in just three days. Moreover, the second film appears even after its release Enola Holmes 3continues to be the favorite among fans of the series. In the third film, Brown returns as Sherlock Holmes’ wayward sister. While preparing for her wedding to Lord Tewkesbury, Sherlock is suddenly kidnapped. What follows is a search for Sherlock, full of dangerous intrigues and hidden treasures.
A film with charm
Reviewers once again praise Brown’s charm, who many believe remains the driving force behind the franchise. The chemistry with Louis Partridge and the return of Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes are also positively received. Opinions are divided about the story. Several reviewers find the plot unnecessarily complicated and less strong than in the previous films, although the light-hearted tone ensures that the film never becomes too heavy.
