The main roles of the Fifty Shades of Greytrilogy are for Materialists actress Dakota Johnson and The Fall star Jamie Dornan. The original was directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson of fame A Million Little Pieces (2018). James Foley took over and directed the two sequels Fifty Shades Darker (2017) in Fifty Shades Freed (2018).
