Tuesday’s stage
For the fourth day, the 181.9 km stage will leave Carcassonne to arrive in Foix. “The crossing of the Cathar country then the confrontation with the most accessible of the Ariège reliefs opens up varied perspectives. But by the time they pass the Col de Montségur 34 km from the finish, a first selection will have already been made among the contenders for victory at the foot of the Château de Foix” according to Christian Prudhomme.
