Netflix is adding the chilling horror film this month Evil Dead Rise (2023) to the offer. Lee Cronin’s version in the Evil Deadfranchise was previously available to stream on HBO Max, but now also has a place in the Netflix offering.
Difficult family visits turn into a nightmare
Not a remote forest cabin, but the claustrophobic walls of an apartment building in the city. Evil Dead Rise tells the chilling story of two sisters who are reunited after years of being estranged. However, their difficult family visit turns into absolute hell when flesh-eating demons take possession of their world. What follows is a bloody journey of survival in which the sisters must fight their worst nightmares and each other.

Evil Dead Risestarring Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan, is the fifth installment in the popular horror series Evil Dead and serves as a follow-up to the standalone Evil Dead (2013). The franchise started with The Evil Dead (1981) by Sam Raimi. The series has now grown a bit more and we can even expect a new part soon with the release of Evil Dead Burn (2026).
