Disney announced a sequel in no time Cruella (2021) turned out to be a worldwide hit. Yet it has remained remarkably quiet around since then Cruella 2 with Emma Stone. The director of the 2021 original, Craig Gillespie, has now provided an update on the project. And unfortunately it doesn’t sound very concrete.
Great success
Five years ago, Disney brought one of its most iconic villains to the big screen for his own movie. Cruella de Vil got with Cruella her own story, with Emma Stone in the title role. It turned out to be a resounding success with rave reviews and sky-high viewing figures and revenues. Disney quickly indicated that it was working on the second part, but it is still not available. How about that?
