The Film of Rutger, Thomas and Paco 2 (2026) proves to be another bull’s eye. The latest film by Rutger Vink, Thomas van Grinsven and their four-legged friend Paco has attracted more than 100,000 visitors to Dutch cinemas. The success immediately results in good news: Splendid Film announces that a third film in the series is officially in development.
Successful franchise
The film by Rutger, Thomas & Paco (2025) attracted more than 300,000 visitors in the Netherlands and Belgium last year, and with the reception of the golden film, the second part also seems to come close to these figures.
Paco as a cat
In The Film of Rutger, Thomas & Paco 2 Rutger and Thomas are drawn into a comic mystery when Paco suddenly turns into a cat. It soon turns out that there is more going on: someone has a plan to turn all the dogs in the area into cats. Rutger and Thomas do everything they can to save Paco and the other dogs.
Visit to Ede and Breda
Saturday July 4th Rutger and Thomas will visit the Pathé in Ede and the Kinepolis in Breda. Here the duo will personally welcome the audience; There is also room for a selfie and asking questions.
