
A small body of water, plants and a few frogs: a very ordinary landscape in France, where there are more than 800,000 ponds. At first glance, it is difficult to imagine that these water points are a source of tension. However, Haute-Vienne, and its almost 14,000 ponds, is the scene of a little-known discord between associations, public water management organizations and owners.
