Prime Video releases the official trailer of The Devil’s Mouth (2026), a new survival thriller that will provide the necessary excitement this summer. Instead of a romantic story or book adaptation, this time the streaming service opts for a blood-curdling adventure in which an idyllic holiday turns into a battle for survival. The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare (2018), Imaginary (2024)).
Holiday turns into a nightmare
The Devil’s Mouth follows a group of study friends who travel to Thailand for an unforgettable holiday. What starts as a carefree adventure diving into crystal clear waters quickly takes a terrifying turn when the group enters an infamous cave system known as The Devil’s Mouth. Led by a local guide, played by Tayme Thapthimthong (The White Lotus (2021– )), they discover that the greatest danger is not on the surface, but lurks deep beneath the water.
Impressive cast
The leading roles are played one by one by well-known faces. Lana Condor, who plays Kate, is known for her role as Lara Jean Song Covey in the Netflix films of the series To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018). Kathryn Newton plays Charlie and was recently seen in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026). Gavin Casalegno plays Greg, and is best known as Jeremiah Fisher The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–2025). Tommi Rose plays Adrienne and can be seen in the hit series Outer Banks (2020– ). Nico Hiraga plays the role of James and is known for his leading role in Sweethearts (2024).
