Pierre Deny has passed away. His daughters announced this to the French newspaper AFP. The actor who starred in the Netflix hit series Emily in Paris (2020– ) was shown as Louis de Léon suffered from a severe form of the nerve-muscle disease ALS. Deny was 69.
Silent struggle
“It is with great emotion that we announce the death of Pierre Deny, who died this Monday from a sudden and severe form of ALS,” reads the statement from Deny’s daughters. The fact that the actor had this disease had not previously been publicized.

Last season
Deny played the character of JVMA CEO Louis in the third and fourth seasons of Emily in Parisand was the opponent of Mindy (Ashley Park). Remarkably, the filming of the sixth and final season started exactly this week in Greece.
