After three parts of De Tatta’s and its own series on Prime Video, it is high time to return to the cinema once again. The studio does this with a spin-off of one of the characters. Of The Tattas: Daan Daan, played by Sem van der Horst, gets his own film on the big screen!
New cinema film
De Tatta’s became one of the biggest Dutch cinema hits of recent years with thousands of visitors. Of course that calls for more! And a series on Prime Video is not enough, because this year Independent Films is also coming to the cinema with a new spin-off! The Tattas: Daan zooms in on Daan (Van der Horst) and his grandfather Richard (John Buijsman).
Where goes The Tattas: Daan over?
Daan has only one goal in mind: to impress his dream girl Layla. In an impulsive mood, he promises her the most epic birthday present ever, but fulfilling that promise turns out to be a completely different story. To make matters worse, his eccentric grandfather comes to Richard’s aid. What should have been a simple mission quickly turns into a chaotic search through the Holland District, packed with bizarre situations and absurd encounters. As the clock ticks, Daan discovers that ‘fixing’ a gift is a lot easier said than done.

Most famous faces make special for The Tattas: Daan a return to the cinema. The cast of the upcoming comedy includes Sem van der Horst, John Buijsman, Leo Alkemade, Sterre Koning and Elisa Beuger. They are again assisted by, among others, Izzle (Furkan Ates), Rarko (Reginio Resida), Hassan Slaby, Ismael Laglag, Yassin Dardour, Sergio IJssel, Roosmarijn Wind, Imanuelle Grives, Jaouad Dikri and Maisam Benali. New additions to the cast include Goudtje (Gioem Cederburg), Toto Mei and Rico Unbelievable (Ricochet Aloefa).
