The summer week starts on Monday A Beautiful Mind (2001). You can watch this drama film with Russell Crowe that day at 8:00 PM on Paramount Network. In this acclaimed biography, math prodigy John Forbes Nash Jr. begins. has a great career, but he soon becomes involved in a mysterious conspiracy.
The mysterious one follows on Tuesday Gone Girl (2014) at 8:25 PM on RTL 7. This work by David Fincher, starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike, follows Nick Dunne and his wife Amy. They have a seemingly perfect relationship, but appearances are deceiving when the two end up in a blood-curdling case. Amy goes missing and Nick’s crazy behavior leaves the police puzzled.
On Wednesdays you have to switch on Veronica at 10:50 PM for the historical The Northman (2022). Robert Eggers, together with actors such as Alexander Skarsgard and Nicole Kidman, delves into tenth-century Iceland. The action film follows the Viking Amleth and his mission to take revenge after his father Horvendill is murdered.
On Thursday at 10:15 PM it is time for Mel Gibson’s work. In Apocalypto (2006), a number of violent invaders deceive a close-knit Mayan community. The idyllic existence of Jaguar Paw and his family is cruelly disrupted when he is kidnapped by the invaders into an oppressed world.

We start the weekend with an emotional dog movie at 8:00 PM on STAR Channel. In The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019) the golden retriever Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner) learns wise life lessons from his owner, aspiring Formula 1 driver Denny. Grab those tissues…
Watch on Saturday at 8:00 PM on STAR Channel Avatar (2009), James Cameron’s acclaimed sci-fi. In this first part of the popular series, disabled war veteran Jake Sully is involuntarily sent to the planet Pandora to colonize it for humanity. Everything changes when he unexpectedly falls in love with one of the inhabitants of this planet.
We end the week well with the classic The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) at 8:00 PM on RTL 7. This western by Sergio Leone follows Blondie and Tuco, two cowboys who made a deal during the war of secession in America. Blondie hands over the wanted Tuco to the sheriff, collects the high bounty and then saves his partner from the noose. That plan works every time, until the stakes become very high.
