Heatwave: orange vigilance extended to 53 departments on Friday

Fifty-three departments in total will be placed “on orange heatwave vigilance” from Friday noon, Météo France indicated on Thursday June 18.

The orange “heatwave” alert will take place “from Friday 12:00 p.m.” and will concern “27 departments in addition to the 26 already affected this Thursday afternoon, along an axis going from the South-West to the North-East”, adds the meteorological institute.
