Netflix has made yet another deal. Soon the thriller Run the Football can be seen on Netflix. Producer Dylan Clark, known for The Batman (2022) in The Batman Part II (2027), is involved in the project.
Air Force One crashed
Very little is officially known about it Run the Footballbut the film is described as a thriller centering on nuclear weapons. Among other things, we will see how Air Force One, the presidential plane of the United States, will crash. The project seems to rely heavily on political tension, military threats and serious action. The title Run the Football also seems to refer to ‘the nuclear football’, the famous briefcase with nuclear launch codes that is always kept near the American president.
Can’t miss it
The scenario of Run the Football is written by Canadian brothers Josh and Spencer Marentette who recently also sold a screenplay to Prime Video, Wheels of War. In addition to Clark, Jaume Collet-Serra is also involved as producer. He previously directed the successful Netflix thriller Carry-On (2024). Unfortunately, it is not yet known who will play the leading roles, who will direct the film or when production will start.
