The Thai Netflix movie My Dearest Assassin (2026) is currently proving to be a worldwide hit. The thriller is at number 1 this week and managed to attract more than 6 million viewers in a short time. My Dearest Assassin marks the first Thai Netflix film to combine action, romance and drama.
Target by special blood type
In My Dearest Assassin we see how Lhan, played by Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul, has been a target of criminals all her life. This has everything to do with her rare blood type. When her parents are murdered for the same reason, she is rescued by House 89, a mysterious clan of assassins who raise her as if she were family. Years later, it turns out that her parents’ killer is still looking for her blood. According to Lhan, the time for running away is now over and she decides to fight back, together with the people she loves.

My Dearest Assassin is directed by Taweewat Wantha, who is mainly known for horror films. It is now also clear that Wantha is not averse to a good action scene. The trailer alone is full of violent scenes and shootings.
