The iconic Little House on the Praire returns Netflix is busy with the release of the reboot and would like to share some more images in the meantime. The streaming service also unveils a brand new trailer Little House on the Prairie (2026).
New trailer
Timeless, hopeful and heartwarming; this is how Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books from the 1930s are often described. It is not surprising that the stories from the series have been filmed several times. Netflix ventures into a new version of the classics with the arrival of Little House on the Prairie. We still have to wait a little longer until we can check out the western series on the service, but luckily Netflix is now sharing a new trailer to keep us busy for a while!
Difficult times
The trailer offers an intimate glimpse into the brand new series. Laura runs with the loyal family dog Jack, Charles plays his violin by a crackling campfire, and Mary shares a tender moment with a neighbor’s boy. However, the trailer also looks ahead to more difficult times. We see how the family leaves their familiar home in Wisconsin, encounters strangers, and how the family deals with a future that is beyond their control.
Cast members
Netflix has managed to connect quite a few big names to the beloved project. This is how Alice Halsey crawls (Lessons In Chemistry (2023)) as Laura Ingalls, plays Luke Bracey (Elvis (2022), Hacksaw Ridge (2016)) her father Charles Ingalls, we see Crosby Fitzgerald (Palm Royale (2024–2026)) as mother Caroline Ingalls and is Skywalker Hughes (Joe Pickett (2021–2023)) as Mary Ingalls, Laura’s older sister.
