The long wait for season 4 of Lupin (2021– ) will be rewarded this year. Based on the official poster for the new episodes, Netflix is sharing the release date today.
From behind bars
Of course, in the fourth season of Netflix’s showpiece we also see Omar Sy in the role of Assane Diop, the master thief who we last saw while he went into hiding and later returned to the inevitable Paris. The fourth part picks up after Assane has had himself arrested with the higher goal of guaranteeing a safe life for his family. How long until he finishes his Lupine books and decides it’s time to find a way out?
Outlaw
The new season 4 poster shows our protagonist looking sharply over the city that has been central to his adventures from the start. Netflix previously said that the next batch of episodes would arrive on the streaming service in the fall; that is now focused on 23 October. The season will have eight episodes, one more than the previous one. In addition to Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard are also part of the (recurring) cast.
