
Several hundred people kidnapped a few months ago by a faction of the jihadist group Boko Haram in Ngoshe, in Borno State (north-eastern Nigeria), have been released, the Nigerian army said on Sunday June 7. In a video published by the latter, we can see frightened women and children transported in vans or pick-ups at night then grouped under trees on the ground, supervised by soldiers. The number of people released ranges from 360 to nearly 420, depending on sources.
