
Rarely violent demonstrations broke out on Tuesday evening in the city of Southampton (southern England) against the police, largely taken over by the British far right. They followed the broadcast, Monday June 1 during the trial of a young Sikh convicted of the murder of a young white student, of a video showing agents handcuffing the victim, wrongly accused of racist insults by his murderer.
