Misha and the Wolves (2021) was released on Netflix in 2021 after premiering at the Sundance Festival. The documentary about an unlikely story made quite an impression there. Netflix subscribers also find the documentary quite bizarre: “Worth watching.”

She told the story extensively in her autobiography, which quickly became an international success and was even made into a film. But is her impressive story actually true?
