Sarah Moon’s dream gardens in Rouen
At 84 years old, photographer Sarah Moon has lost none of her freshness as shown by her recent photos taken in Giverny and in the Cotentin. Printed on “Japan paper”, they play with reflections, mists and wild grass. Confronted with around sixty older photographs, at the Rouen Normandie Photographic Center and at the city’s Jardin des Plantes, they tell the story of the attraction for the gardens of this great fashion photographer. A poetic nature crossed by ghosts and shadows, captured in black and white Polaroids and large pigment prints. An ode to the beauty and fragility of the world!
