After the finale of the latest season of Euphoria (2019–2026), Sydney Sweeney sets her sights on a new chapter in her career. The actress has founded her own production company, Honey Trap, and from now on she wants to profile herself even more strongly behind the scenes as a producer. She also does not rule out a future as a director.
Important collaboration
Honey Trap immediately secured an important collaboration. The company entered into an agreement with Sony Pictures, the studio with which Sweeney previously successfully collaborated on the romantic comedy Anyone But You (2023). That film unexpectedly became a worldwide hit and grossed more than 210 million dollars.

From television star to Hollywood power
Sweeney’s career started with success series such as Euphoria (2019–2026) in The White Lotus (2021– ), for which she received Emmy nominations. She has now developed into one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood. She was recently seen in The Housemaid (2025)alongside Amanda Seyfried. The film was a great success and will soon have a sequel, The Housemaid’s Secretwhich also stars Kirsten Dunst.
Daring films and series
The name Honey Trap refers to sexual seduction and attraction, themes that are also reflected in the vision of the production company. With her new venture, Sweeney wants to develop daring films and series with complex characters and emotionally powerful stories.
