
The administrative situation of Russian columnist Xenia Fedorova, who launched the French branch of the Kremlin propaganda media Russia Today (RT France) in 2017, is embarrassing the government. Since the closure of the media in 2022 after Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, the columnist continues to intervene in the media of conservative billionaire Vincent Bolloré. A long investigation carried out by Le Monde revealed last week the influence of the forty-year-old, particularly within the CNews channel, where she allegedly obtained the departure of colleagues or columnists who were too critical of Vladimir Putin’s regime.
