
La Croix: An investigation by Le Point reveals accusations of sexual assault and rape within a Parisian troop of the Unitarian Scouts of France two years ago, notably during a summer camp. In France, a third of sexual violence against minors is committed by other minors. What does this number say? Have we taken the measure of this in the Church?
Stéphane Joulain: It is a global phenomenon, which does not only concern France or scouting. Numerous studies have appeared over the past ten years on minors who commit sexual assault, or “intrusive minors,” as they are sometimes called.
