Soon the time will finally come and get it Reacher (2022– ) its first spin-off. Neagley (2026), in which we follow Reacher’s sidekick Frances Neagley, can be seen on Prime Video from the end of this summer. The first teaser was unveiled this weekend during Comic-con. The images can now be seen.
Research
Although Reacher is known for his independence and ability to get himself out of almost any situation, he has occasionally received help from Neagley over the years. Neagley is a former member of Reacher’s 110th Special Investigations Unit and went to work as a private investigator in Chicago after her stint in the military. Now it’s time for a spin-off that revolves entirely around her detective work. The spin-off is in the hands of production manager Nick Santora who is also responsible for Reacher.
Neagley’s mysterious past
The first trailer is immediately reminiscent of the action we are used to Reacher. Actress Maria Sten revealed during Comic-Con that the spin-off finally answers questions about Neagley’s mysterious past. The series delves into her personal history and reveals what made her who she is, including possibly the origins of her fear of being touched (haphephobia).
