Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Donald Trump’s desire to use frozen Iranian funds to reimburse the damage to ships affected in the Gulf creates an “inflammatory precedent.”
“The seizure of another country’s assets to settle future debts (…) constitutes an incendiary precedent,” wrote Abbas Araghchi on X.
