Prime Video has started production of Rose Hillthe adaptation of Elsie Silver’s novel series of the same name. The leading actors have also been announced.
Prime Video and book adaptation
The film adaptation of Rose Hill is not the first novel series that Prime Video is bringing to the screen. Prime Video now has an impressive range of novels that are already on the platform or in development. Among other things The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–2025), Off Campus (2026– ), My fault (2023) in Red White & Royal Blue (2023) are adaptations of popular novels found on the platform.

Rose Hill is based on Silver’s bestselling series of books Wild Love, Wild Eyes, Wild Side in Wild Card. The stories are set in a snowy Canadian mountain town and revolve around the romantic entanglements within a close group of friends.

Cast members
The cast of the series has also been announced: Jake Weary will star as rancher West Belmont, Sean O’Pry will play Ford Grant Jr., Hannah Galway will star as Rose Belmont, West’s sister, and Sadie Dickerson will join the cast as country-pop star Skylar Stone.
