HBO Max is putting out one final release around Euphoria (2019–2026), two months after the series concluded. It is not about new episodes, but about a retrospective special entitled Euphoria: A Look Back (2026).
Looking back on seven years of Euphoria
The special consists of interviews and behind-the-scenes footage that takes you from the start to the end of the series. There are images of a young Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya during interviews, press moments and on set.
From teenage drama to cultural phenomenon
Euphoria grew in seven years to become one of HBO’s most talked about series. The combination of raw storylines about addiction, identity and youthful self-destruction, recognizable visual style and music choices ensured that the series grew into a cultural phenomenon.
Award-winning success
The impact of Euphoria can also be seen at the Emmy Awards. The first two seasons together earned 9 Emmy Awards and the third and final season received another 7 Emmy nominations this year, including for cinematography and production design. The roles of Colman Domingo and Zendaya also received a nomination.
