
A thick white smoke which hides the horizon covers the sky of Diois. It escapes from the Justin massif, an imposing mountain which overlooks the town of Die (Drôme), epicenter of the fire which has ravaged the valley since June 24 following a lightning strike. This Friday morning, almost no telephone communication is possible, accentuating the concerns of residents. A few days earlier, the mountain’s telephone relay was hit by flames.
