It was quite a shock for fans of the gangster series Mobland (2025– ). Tom Hardy, one of the main actors in the production, is said to have left the series after a disagreement. Fortunately, that is no longer the case; Hardy returns for the third season of MobLand.
Arguing on set
It seemed like that for a while MobLand had to continue without leading actor Tom Hardy. According to rumors, the actor was fired after he got into an argument with executive producer Jez Butterworth on set. That gossip quickly became concrete when several sources confirmed the disagreement. The third season of MobLandwhich also stars Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, would therefore no longer have room for Hardy.

Still a return
Fortunately, that has changed. According to various American trade media, Hardy would return after all. The dispute was said to have been resolved after a conversation in London between Hardy and the production team. The third season would now go into production in the near future with Hardy in the role of fixer Harry Da Souza.
When will season 3 go into production?
However, that is not entirely certain yet, because a third season has not yet been officially announced. The second season, which wrapped production in March this year, has not yet been released. It is also not yet known when the new episodes will appear on SkyShowtime.
