Singer Bad Bunny, who is in Madrid for a series of ten concerts scheduled to end on June 15, “was with his family and a few other people,” the Vatican said, adding that the pope “greeted them briefly before leaving the stadium.”
Coincidentally, the Pope and Bad Bunny were in the Spanish capital at the same time, a coincidence which made Leo XIV say on board his plane en route to Madrid that the young people could hesitate between the two of them.

“If they’re faced with the question of whether they want to see Bad Bunny or whether they want to see the Pope, I think a lot of people will go see Bad Bunny. But I also think that there will be some who will come to see the Pope. And that means something,” he said.
The 32-year-old artist, who performed during the halftime show of the Super Bowl (the final of the American football championship), propelled reggaeton and Latin trap to the top of world pop.
