The new Italian crime series Sara – The woman in the shade (2025– )of Sara – Woman in the Shadows In English, scores well on Netflix. The mysterious series has been in the Netflix Top 10 for a week now and viewers sound satisfied: “A good Netflix series for the enthusiast”.
To clarify her son’s early death, Sara, a former internal agent of the secret service, returns tired and withdrawn into a prison of loneliness, to ask her girlfriend and former colleague Teresa for a favor. But everything has a price. And suddenly she becomes entangled in her old life. Whether she likes it or not, she is still the best: they called her the “invisible woman” and her gift has never been questioned.
While she discovers details in her son’s life that she hardly knew anything about, Sara sinks away in a study that brings her back to many ghosts from her past. Keeping both things together is very difficult, and certainly very dangerous. Paradoxically, however, the invisible woman comes back to life in this way, while she does what she is good at: justice.
