Very good news for fans of Football parents (2025– ): Netflix has just announced that the Dutch comedy series will also have a second season. Maker and lead actress Ilse Warringa announces the happy news in a new video.
Marenka returns
The first season of Football parents Was a great success and the series was at the top of the Netflix Top 10 in the Netherlands and Belgium for some time. So it’s not surprising that the streaming service sees something in a sequel. In the video below, Warringa calls her character in the Netflix series.

Group parents on the sidelines
The comedy series revolves around a group of ambitious parents who shamelessly interfere with the amateur football careers of their children. We get to know this world through Lilian and her son Levi, who is new to the team.
Lilian soon realizes that she wants to escape from this quirky group of parents, especially from the over -enthusiastic team leader Marenka, who is the last person you want to deal with on a Saturday morning. Levi, however, wants to stay and even concludes a friendship with Vito, the most eccentric child of all, who happens to be Marenka’s son.
Release date season 2 on Netflix
