Jared Leto is under fire now that he is accused of sexual abuse by several women. On Friday appeared in the American digital medium Air Mail An extensive story about the actor, in which nine women tell how they became victims of Letos sexual harassment. This weekend, a Leto spokesperson has responded to the revelations in the negative.
Successful on two fronts
Jared Leto is not only known for his roles in Hollywood films, he has also been the lead singer of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars for years. The first album of the band was released in 2002. Leto already had several film rolls to his name. The actor is best known for his roles in Dallas Buyers Club (2013) (met Matthew McConaughey), superheldenfilm Suicide Squad (2016) (as the joker), Blade Runner 2049 (2017) and it nabulated nicely Morbius (2022). Air Mail Opens the revealing story about the alleged misconduct of Leto with a reference to a social media post of a DJ working in Los Angeles. This allie teilz shared an old Facebook status on her Instagram story, dating from 2012, in which she pointed out her followers on the whims of Leto. “You are not really in Los Angeles to Jared Leto has tried to get back to you… in a kilt. And with a snow hat on”.
At a young age
Teilz claims that she was only 17 years old when she was “assaulted” and “traumatized” by the actor. Leto would have known about her age but had not given anything about it. The woman calls the pop star “the most persistent predator in Hollywood”.
In the article of Air Mail There are another eight other personal testimonials, where it is striking that various women (including Teilz) were minors when they were approached by Leto. One of them sixteen years old when the actor started having sexual conversations with her, and her relationship status and oral satisfaction, among other things. Another actress said he was seventeen when Leto came out of a room in her presence completely naked.
Personal assistant
In an official response to the publication medium, a Jared Leto spokesperson states that all accusations are based on untruth. About the woman who accuses the actor of nude walking (and of other unwanted intimate contact), the spokesperson says that she later applied for the vacant position of Leto’s personal assistant. The woman certainly denies that she did this.
It is not yet clear whether the story of Air Mail will also have legal consequences.
