The daughters
Freakier Friday is the sequel to Freaky Friday (2003) And takes place years later. Anna, whom we last saw as a rebellious teenager, is now mature, engaged and now the mother of a teenage daughter. Anna marries Eric soon, he also has a daughter from an earlier relationship. The couple is looking forward to the future and their new life as a family, but unfortunately the two teenage daughters cannot find it at all. When the family is hit by lightning after a meeting with a fortune teller, a great adventure starts in which the family ties are put to the test.
Annabel
Freakier Friday is directed by Nisha Ganatra. As usual, the role of Anna is played by Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis returns as her mother Tess. Jodie Foster got the chance to get back on the role of Annabel, the character she in the original Freaky Friday (1976) played from 1976. Due to agenda obligations, she had to let the role pass by.
