Please note, you will have to make choices! Parcours season 2025 imposes a new step during this admission phase: you will have to classify your wishes pending by order of preference.
Following the first answers unveiled this Monday, June 2, 66 % of candidates obtained admissions proposals (Yes) But many are on waiting lists and must wait that the withdrawals are done …
Craftsup wishes classification: who is concerned?
All candidates with waiting wishes must classify them in order of preference.
You are concerned:
- If you only have wishes for waiting training
- If you have already accepted an admission proposal but you want to keep wishes pending for a better proposal.
If you have already accepted an admission proposal and renounced to keep your wishes pending, you are not affected by this stage.
Parcoursup classification: what consequences?
You will have to determine which wishes you want the most compared to others: in order of preference, from rank 1 to row 5 if you have 5 wishes pending for example.
Beware, however, of the mechanical consequence of this classification: if you get an admission proposal for training that you have classified in rank 2, the 3 wishes less well classified (from rank 3 to 5) will be automatically deleted, the one in Rang 1 is of course kept and you can wait until a response.
To properly classify your wishes, your position in the waiting list should not be taken into account, you just have to ask yourself: next year Where do you really want to study? The first answer that comes to your head will be rank 1.
Important point: the classification of your waiting wishes that you will do not change your place in the waiting lists. The targeted training will never have the information of your ranking and the position of the wish in your list.
Wishes classification: deadline
The Ministry of Higher Education requires this ranking before June 10 at 11:59 p.m. (Paris time). You have between Friday 6 and Tuesday, June 10 to make this ranking.
You can give up some wishes, this step also allows you to sort, take the time to discuss it around you with your parents or teachers, close to confidence for your orientation.
Attention ! If you have not classified your wishes pending before the deadline, Wednesday, June 11, they will all be automatically deleted.
This classification imposed was only considered from Wednesday June 11, 2025. It has no consequences before this date.
Why classify your waiting wishes?
To accelerate this process and the evolution of the waiting lists, the ministry decided to introduce a system for classification of wishes very early on from the main phase. This step is provided in the Parcoursup Calendar Since the opening of the site this year.
Adding stress to this procedure that is not always easy to understand, it is a great return of the classification of wishes, which had however caused the disappearance of his ancestor “APB (Admission Post Bac)” which imposed this classification from the seizure of the wishes.
By proceeding in step, Parcoursup hopes to add more complex actions gradually. The goal being at the end to improve its weak point: the slowness of the admission phase. Thus, classifying your wishes aims to accelerate the evolution of the waiting lists, and allow all the candidates to obtain a proposal for next year more quickly.
From June 11, you can also participate in the complementary phase From Parcoursup: a second chance to grasp new wishes.
