The film is directed by Tyler Perry, who makes multiple titles for the streaming service under a deal with Netflix. That’s how he is the man behind The Six Triple Eight (2024) and the popular Beauty in Black (2024– ). The leading role is for Taraji P. Henson, known from What Men Want (2019) in Hidden Figures (2016). Other roles are for Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor and 9-1-1 actor Rockmond Dunbar.
