The track of an operation commanded from abroad is now privileged. Three men of Serbian nationality suspected of having sprayed with green paint five Jewish placesincluding the Shoah Memorial, on the night of Friday to Saturday in Paris were imprisoned for degradations related to “a foreign power”.
They had been Arrested Monday in the Alpes-Maritimes As they were about to leave the territory.
During the night from Friday to Saturday, the wall of the just of the Shoah Memorial, two synagogues and a restaurant of the Jewish community, located in the 4th arrondissement of the capital, were sprayed with green paint, as well as a synagogue in the 20th arrondissement.
The facts were discovered in the early morning by police officers and the investigation was entrusted by the Paris prosecutor’s office to territorial security for “degradations committed due to religion”.
The surveillance cameras of the memorial and two synagogues have captured images of several men dressed in black.

The tags of “red hands”, a symbol that can be linked to the lynching of Israeli soldiers in Ramallah (West Bank) in 2000, were analyzed by the security services as an interference operation on the part of Russian speakers.
In the fall of 2023, two Moldovans were arrested for having tagged David stars on facades of Parisian buildings, in another alleged operation of interference.
