The Alien franchise will soon be expanded with a brand new series. Alien: Earth (2025) takes place two years before the events from the original film by Ridley Scott, and the episodes appear on Disney+this summer. The exciting trailer can now be seen.
People, Cyborgs, Synthetics and Hybrids
In the year 2120 the earth is governed by five companies: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold. In this corporate era, there are also cyborgs in addition to people (people with both organic and artificial parts) and synthetics (human -like robots with artificial intelligence). But the situation changes when the founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unleashes a new technological development: hybrids (humanoid robots with human consciousness).
The first hybrid prototype called “Wendy” marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After the Spaceship of Weyland-Yutani clashes with Prodigy City, “Wendy” and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms that are more frightening than anyone could ever have imagined.
