Twenty years ago, London was startled by a terrible terrorist attack, in which more than 50 people were killed and more than 700 injured people. In a new docuserie to be published, Attack on London: Hunting The 7/7 Bombers (2025)Netflix goes back in time and collects the testimonies of victims, researchers and care providers. The first images can now be seen.
Four explosions
On July 7, 2005, a group of terror suspects detonated four bombs in the heart of the city of London. Three bombs exploded in the metro, a last bomb in a characteristic double -deck bus. In the aftermath, a manhunt followed on the alleged perpetrators, in which a group called “al-Qaeda in Europe” claimed the attack. Four young men from Leeds were later arrested.
Reconstruction
Attack on London is a reconstruction of the events on and after July 7, in which several stakeholders tell their story about the events of the day in question. Netflix promises exclusive interviews and uses archive material that has not been seen before in news broadcasts.
