Avatar director James Cameron is far from ready to say goodbye to Pandora, but after the release of the expected third part the maker does a break. That break will certainly not be a sabbatical: Cameron will work on the film adaptation of a well -known fantasy novel.
Pre -sort
At the beginning of this year, the director announced that the production of Avatar: Fire and Ashthat exactly three years after the appearance of Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) must come out. It will not be long before Cameron can put an end to his work on the follow -up film, and he has already pre -sorted it on.

Carnivora eleven
On Facebook, the maker says that his production company Lightstorm Entertainment has purchased the rights of The Devilsa newly published fantasy novel by Joe Abercombrie. The story revolves around a bunch of samples that should save Europe from carnivorous elves; A synopsis that reads for us as a variant of Lord of the Rings that got out of hand. Cameron receives help from the author himself when writing the script.
“This will be a pleasant new challenge for me,” writes the filmmaker. “I have been reading Joe’s books for years (…) The freshness of the world and the characters in ‘The Devils’ have activated me and now ensure that I go to work with him”.
Last year Cameron also bought the rights of Ghosts of Hiroshimathe true story of a man who survived the explosions of both atomic bombs in 1945. Or The Devils Now that it is given priority over that project, it is not clear.
