Hollywood says goodbye to 41-year-old Devin Lee Harjes. The actor died last week after a form of cancer was diagnosed with him in February. Harjes was known for the mysterious series, among others Manifest (2018–2023)in which he played the recurring role of Pete Baylor.

The Hollywood Reporter Reports that Harjes died last week in a hospital in New York. The actor was recorded there because he suffered from an unpleasant form of cancer. In recent years he has not been seen in new films or series.

Harjes owes its fame to a roll in the valued HBO hits series Boardwalk Empire (2010–2014)in which he played Jack Dempsey. Later appearances followed Orange Is the New Black (2013–2019), Gotham (2014–2019) in Daredevil (2015–2018). It was always about rolling for one episode, but that changed when the actor entered the second season of Manifest. Harjes played Pete Baylor, one of the so -called ‘Meth Heads’ in the series and brother of Jace. In total he was in nine episodes.
