For anyone who had had enough of the hair-raising AI-POP M3GAN, there is ominous news: ‘she’ returns this year. In the month of the cinema release, the makers set the expectations M3GAN 2.0 (2025) Once again with a last revealing trailer.
Two years later
In the sequel to we are two years later since M3gan has been destroyed. Gemma, the inventor of De Pop, is now a well -known author, but cannot continue her life in all relaxation: the technology that M3gan has brought to life has been stolen. If a large weapon producer abuses the technology to make a killer spy, Gemma sees no choice but to counter that invention …
Inevitable upgrade
“Yes, it is,” we hear the deadly doll say on the new images, after which she immediately adds a new victim to her ‘Killing Spree’. In the first part, M3GAN was still (relatively) concerned with the fate of others, but after Gemma’s inevitable upgrade it seems to really change.
Allison Williams turns in M3GAN 2.0 Of course back as Gemma, and further we see and hear in the future Violet McGraw, Jemaine Clement, Ivanna Sakhno (the new Killer-Spion Amelia), Amie Donald and Jenna Davis. Gerard Johnstone also directs this second part.
M3GAN 2.0 runs from June 26 In Dutch cinemas.
