A 34 -year -old Dutchman died during a rave-party Bringing together thousands of people in Ain, the prefecture said on Saturday.
The thirties could not be resuscitated “despite the intervention of the aid”, specifies the prefecture, which does not give details on the circumstances of the death.
An investigation is underway and “several victims have also been supported by the civil security associations present on site, in connection with the firefighters”.
An undeclared rave
This undeclared rave, located on land of the municipalities of Innimond and Lompenas (Ain), brought together “around 5,000 people on Saturday morning”, according to state services.
“This gathering was organized without consultation with the public authorities, in defiance of the basic safety rules on a site which is not provided for this purpose,” adds the prefecture.
The prefect of Ain, Chantal Mauchet, “firmly condemns this illicit installation”, recalling that it can give rise to the seizure of the material for its confiscation by the judicial court.
