Soon will appear on Prime Video Shoean exciting drama series with leading roles for Oscar winners Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis. The series is based on Patricia Cornwell’s books and is about medical researcher Kay Scarpetta. The first images came by in a new video compilation of the streaming service.
Difficult relationship with sister
Shoe was announced in the early fall of 2024. Central to the series is Kay, she returns to Virginia and her old job. In the meantime, she is in a complicated situation on both personal and professional level. Kays return is further difficult by the complicated relationship with her sister Dorothy. In addition to Kidman and Curtis, Ariana Debose, Bobby Cannavale and Simon Baker, among others, can also be seen in the series.
Popular book series
The books on which the series is based are seen as part of the most successful thriller series of the past decades. The first book, Postportemappeared in 1990 and marks the first introduction to Kay. The series now has 27 novels of which the most recent, Identity Unknownappeared in the fall of 2024. Prime Video has not yet made an official announcement about further seasons.
