In Ome Cor (2022) we were introduced to Martin van Waardenberg as Cor, and in Grandpa Cor (2024) We dive deeper into the life of the Rotterdam port worker. After a cinema release, the sequel now makes its way to Netflix. Next month the film will already appear on the streaming service!
Grandson
Cor grandpa has become in the new film. When he has to look after his grandson Coentje, he is tempted to participate in a clover yast tournament. But then he loses Coentje. His daughter Carola forbids her father to ever see his grandson. Cor comes up with a plan to reverse that decision.
5.9Good luck on Netflix
Ome Cor Knowed the leading position of the Dutch Netflix Top 10 within a week and was a huge success at the streaming service for nine weeks. Grandpa Cor will therefore be a very welcome addition to the offer.
The direction is again in the hands of Martin van Waardenberg and Peter Verhage. Martin’s daughter Floortje van Waardenberg also returns as Carola, Cor’s daughter. Other names that pass are Johan Derksen, Filip Freriks, Rob Kemps, Gordon and Carice van Houten.
