A big secret
When Carmen, an 80-year-old widow, gets a household accident, her daughter Lourdes decides to hire a caregiver to help her with her daily needs. Carmen is used to living alone and rejects all candidates because she feels that her space is being affected.
This frustrates her daughter, whose life is disturbed by the constant need for her mother’s attention. The stressful parade of caregivers puts Lourdes wedding under pressure. Her husband Mario is forced to reject an important job. Lourdes is the endless cycle of job interviews, adjustments and dismissed and argues with her mother, making her feel guilty. Just when it seems that no caretaker will be good enough for Carmen, Blanca arrives – a woman with an angelic appearance, friendly, efficient and resourceful. But things are not the way they seem. Blanca hides a secret that Carmens life will change forever.
