Zach Braffs returns as JD in ‘Scrubs’ Reboot – Paudal

After the nice news that Scrubs (2001–2010) Getting a reboot is now also the high word that fans have been hoping for ages: Zach Braff returns as a protagonist. The negotiations with the actor ran anything but flawless and dragged himself on for months, but a contract has now been signed.

You might wonder what Scrubs Is without JD? Apparently the makers thought exactly the same thing about it, because they didn’t just gave up to get Braff on board again. Negotiations with the actor have lasted a long time. There were strong discussions about money and the location of the recordings. Braff would rather film in Los Angeles than in Vancouver. For a moment the project hung on a thread, but in the end the parties reached an agreement, although it is not known where the recordings will take place.

Now that the deal is round with BRAFF, the negotiations with other original cast members will also start, including Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes. The series is again led by Bill Lawrence who describes the project as a hybrid between a revival in which we follow the familiar characters again, and a reboot in which we get to know a group of new co -assistants.
