A 45 -year -old man was killed with a brunt object on Friday night to this Saturday, in Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique). The alleged perpetrator is another man. The latter would have been surprised by the victim in a caravan while he was with the wife of the deceased. A police source explains that the facts took place around 2 am.
By wanting to defend himself, the supposed lover, alcoholic at the time of the facts, fatally affected his attacker at the level of the heart, said the same source.
The suspect in police custody
The nature of the object that caused the fatal injury remains to be specified. An autopsy of the victim must be practiced on Tuesday, the public prosecutor of Saint-Nazaire was told (France Press Agency), Florence Sroda.
